What does this role entail?

The SRE Administrator position plays a crucial role within Fenergo's SaaS Engineering Department, primarily dedicated to managing service requests for Fen-X, Fenergo's SaaS-native product. As a key contributor, you will collaborate with fellow SRE team members to ensure tenant resources are created and maintained. This role will be a focal point between the SRE team and internal stakeholders. Candidates for this role should possess a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities to effectively manage cloud infrastructure and services. This position is ideal for individuals aiming to transition into a technical role. 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Jira cloud service requests and ensure timely deployment of tenant infrastructure within specified SLA. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Fenergo, with a specific focus on tenant resources. 
• Develop and implement automation processes to simplify and streamline the management of tenant-based resources. 
• Establish and uphold mutual TLS (mTLS) certificate creation and maintenance. 
• Assist Professional Services in implementing and maintaining Single Sign-On (SSO) and external integrations. 

Requirements

Desired Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Computing or similar related qualification, or equivalent by experience 
• Proficient in utilizing Jira & Azure DevOps for task tracking. 
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript 
• Automation/scripting skills with a commitment to automating tasks. 
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in effectively managing technical delivery within project environments, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder management.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
