Our Graduate Programme runs for a period of 12 months giving successful graduates the opportunity to become a full time Xapien once the programme has concluded. This role would therefore be a 12 month contract.

Position overview

As a Risk Graduate Trainee, you will support our risk management operations by assisting in the identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks across the organisation. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and are eager to develop professionally in a dynamic team environment. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of risk assessment models and tools.
• Conduct risk evaluations to understand risk exposures and make recommendations for mitigating risks.
• Analyse large sets of data to identify trends and potential risk areas.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. 
• Prepare reports and presentations that communicate risk analysis findings to senior management.
• Support the risk management team in daily operations and special projects. 

Skills needed

• Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. 
• 0-2 years of experience in risk management, finance, or a related area. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
