Backend Engineer

As a Backend Developer at Exiger, you will be responsible for designing and developing software projects from a technical implementation perspective that satisfy the project’s requirements, and result in implementing features and improvements in our flagship software platform. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving our APIs and backend services. Your role will involve owning features from conception to deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and automating manual processes.

Requirements:

• At least 5 - 7 years of experience relevant experience as a developer 
• Experience with version control software (i.e., Gitbucket, GitHub)
• Experience with SQL databases, data migrations, and best practices
• Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes,etc.)
• Experience with Microservices architecture and domain driven design. 
• Proficiency in GoLang and GraphQL. Knowledge of Ruby, Python, and Java a plus

This is a full-time opportunity 100% Remote. This position is remote eligible within the United States, excluding residents of California, Colorado, and New York. Candidates must be Clearable for secret/top secret US government clearance.
