Chief of Staff

You’re a highly collaborative and strategic leader who wants to significantly impact the success of a scaling startup. We’re EngagedMD and we have a patient journey application used by more than 2 million users nationwide and internationally since its launch, and we continue to see enormous growth and adoption from medical clinics across multiple markets. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in our mission to help carers carry on caring. You will serve as a force-multiplier to the co-founders and executive team, participate in strategy development, manage company priorities, coordinate and manage relationships internally and externally, and ensure streamlined cross-functional collaboration in order to achieve the company’s strategic goals.

 

This fully remote role reports to our co-founders/co-CEOs, and candidates are required to reside in the United States. This role requires legal authorization to work in the United States. EngagedMD is unable to sponsor current H1B visa holders for this role.

 

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the co-founders and executive team to execute the company's strategic plan, goals, and objectives
• Partner with the executive team to create compelling and relevant company-wide and board-level communication 
• Build exceptionally strong relationships with company leaders, team members, board members and advisors such that you can influence outcomes in service of the co-founders’ vision and goals
• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that drive the growth and success of the company 
• Ensure action items are executed on behalf of the executive team 
• Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, or a similar role; experience in technology or healthcare industries a plus
• Prior experience working in a scaling business as a Chief of Staff or in a similar leadership role
• A mission-driven orientation and growth mindset apply to all you do
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate in the gray
• Strong business acumen and working knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) for SaaS organizations 
• Expertise with Excel or other spreadsheets for data analysis and measurement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving successful project execution in a remote-first environment 
• Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a small, fast-paced organization 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent career experience
