Summary:
The Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A – Planning & Strategy leads the Annual Operating Plan (AOP/PROJ), Mid‑Year Review (MYR), rolling forecasts, scenario modeling, and long‑term Strategic Planning (SP). This role also drives the enterprise reporting & analytics roadmap, working closely with IT and global FP&A teams. The position manages one analyst.
Responsibilities:
Planning & Forecasting
- Lead global AOP/PROJ, MYR, and rolling forecast processes.
- Build driver‑based models, scenario plans, and long‑range financial outlooks.
- Challenge assumptions and ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
Reporting & Technology Strategy
- Define and deliver the roadmap for reporting, data architecture, and automation.
- Partner with IT on Adaptive/BI enhancements and data governance.
- Standardize KPI definitions, hierarchies, and reporting structures.
Business Insights & Partnering
- Provide strategic analyses to support investment, SG&A, and enterprise priorities.
- Deliver forward‑looking insights, risks/opportunities, and performance bridges.
Team Leadership
-Develop one planning analyst; strengthen modeling, analytical, and storytelling skills.
-Prioritize workload, provide coaching, and build capability depth.
Skills & Competencies
Technical
- Deep expertise in planning cycles (AOP/PROJ/MYR/SP), driver‑based forecasting, scenario modeling
- Strong experience in Adaptive Planning, SAP/ERP/BPC, Power BI
- Advanced data modeling, KPI design, and roadmap prioritization
Leadership & Behavioral
- Influential communicator who can align senior leaders
-Systems thinker with an innovation mindset
-Strong project management & governance orientation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 7-10+ years FP&A experience with planning leadership
-Prior roadmap, systems, or transformation exposure a plus
-Experience coaching talent and working cross‑functionally and interacting with senior leaders.
Success Measures
- Execution of AOP/PROJ/MYR/SP processes with stakeholder alignment
- Forecast accuracy improvements and transparent drivers
- Deliver roadmap with measurable automation and reporting improvements
- Positive employee engagement and analyst development progress
