About the role

We are recruiting for an experienced CAD Engineer to join a design team based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CAD professional to work on a variety of civil engineering projects while developing their technical expertise.

The Role

As a CAD Engineer, you will produce a range of 2D and 3D drawings and models to support the design and delivery of civil engineering projects.

Your responsibilities will include producing:

Plans and vertical sections
Geology profiles
Monitoring plans
Shaft general arrangements and details
Temporary works drawings
2D and 3D model data and drawing packagesYou will work from information including topographical and utility surveys, OS data and live construction progress models.

Civil 3D and AutoCAD will be the main software used, with occasional requirements to work with Navisworks, MicroStation and Revit.

Key Responsibilities

Produce, amend and maintain 2D and 3D models and drawing packages.
Work independently or as part of a project team.
Develop and maintain CAD standards and procedures.
Ensure drawings comply with internal, project and industry standards.
Prepare scheme designs as required.
Identify and resolve spatial coordination issues.
