CAD CAM Programmer

Trident Recruitment is recruiting a CAD/CAM Programmer for a precision engineering company in Woking, working with CMZ lathes and Hurco milling machines.

This is an opportunity for an experienced CAD/CAM programmer who enjoys producing precision components and is open to learning a new software system.

The Role

*

Produce and optimise CNC programs for CMZ lathes and Hurco milling machines.

*

Use Fusion 360 to develop machining strategies from engineering drawings and CAD models.

*

Select suitable tooling, feeds and speeds.

*

Support the shop floor with prove-outs and resolve programming issues.

*

Improve machining efficiency while maintaining quality and accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

*

Strong programming experience using any CAD/CAM software.

*

Fusion 360 knowledge is beneficial, although experience with another package and a willingness to switch systems are key.

*

Experience in CNC milling, turning or both.

*

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

*

F1 or motorsport machining experience would be beneficial.

*

A practical approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
