Purpose Statement
The Regional Commercial Chains Manager will be accountable for growing profitable case sales and achieving individual targets, delivering the Rich Experience within an identified region. The ideal candidate should live in the Mountain or Pacific time zones.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Partner with Sales, Culinary & Marketing leadership to develop and/or update customer targets and strategic plans
Develop customer business plans including the following:
- Product targets and forecasts
- Customer profile and the competitive landscape
- Customer people/relationship plans and accurate maintenance of CRM
- Resource support plan and budget, cost tracking
- Utilize knowledge of key categories
- Culinary objectives
- Maintain an understanding of contract terms, obligations and pricing
- Manage product customization
- Exceed account sales and profit goals with targeted accounts
- Work closely with customer marketers and culinary to develop product and menu presentations for customers
- Utilize the knowledge and application of internal support services and processes to achieve account goals and customer satisfaction. Address issues and resolve in a timely manner
- Business development with existing customer opportunities and cultivate other opportunities
- Manages travel and entertainment expenses, event budgets & advertising and other marketing budgets. Sample budget management, air freight and spoilage budget
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business management, Finance, Economics or Marketing preferred)
- Minimum 7 years proven success in a sales or business development role within the food service industry. Regional commercial chains strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successes in sales/ business development, cultivating and closing regional commercial chain opportunities
- Demonstrated successful sales experience in a value added or needs based environment; demonstrated ability in innovative thinking/applications
- Demonstrated successful participation in team selling and solid examples of team interactions
- Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand business, product and platform strategy as well as demonstrated ability to understand product and customer P&L’s.
- Self-disciplined, organized and ability to work within assigned Travel & Entertainment budget.
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce or CRM preferred
- Travel required approximately 75% air and car travel on the west coast

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$111,221.67 - $166,832.51
