The Schaeffer Institute is seeking a Home Department Payroll/Personnel Coordinator II, who working closely with the Senior Director of Finance and Research Administration and the accounting and operations teams of the Institute and the Price School, will be responsible for payroll and personnel processes pertaining to the Institute. This is a full time, grant funded, one year fixed-term position with a hybrid work arrangement.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing payroll and personnel processes and ensuring that they are in accordance to USC regulations, policies, and procedures
Assisting faculty and staff with salary administration; Working closely with the Senior Director of Finance and Research Administration and Schaeffer leadership to update and resolve issues as they arise
Coordinating hiring processes and paperwork in conjunction with the Director of Operations and the HR director of the Price School
Supervise staff or student workers as needed
Minimum Education:
Related undergraduate study
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimim Experience:
2 years of relevant experience
3 years of relevant experience preferred
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is $75,467 - $82,744. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Position is 100% FTE
