The Role at a Glance

 

We are excited to bring on a motivated and detail-oriented Return to Work Coordinator(RTWC) to our fast-growing team.

 

This entry-level position is a great opportunity for anyone looking to join LFG’s claims department.  The position offers many career advancement opportunities, with many of our past Return to Work Coordinators successfully transitioning to promotional roles within a year.  The role will support our Integrated Leave Specialists on one of our dedicated major accounts within the Group Protection claims department.  The RTWC plays a key role in the engagement of the transitional work population, the documentation of letters and communication, and overall mitigation of lost time cases.

What you'll be doing

•    Support the team and the customer by making informed decisions related to ongoing case management and the return-to-work process.
•    Reach out to claimants via email to confirm their estimated return-to-work plans, actual return to work, and close the claim/leave as appropriate once return to work has been confirmed. 
•    Document claims and leaves, to include documentation of return to work and closures, in a clear, concise, and appropriate manner. 
•    Acts on all feedback and task management recommendations promptly. 
•    Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external customers to provide a recommendable customer experience. 
•    Provide additional independent contributions in support of the manager and team goals.

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:
•    Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams) and SharePoint.
•    Quick, accurate data entry, and strong time-management skills.
•    Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
•    Well-organized and excellent attention to detail.
•    Ability to multitask and prioritize to effectively manage workflow. 

Nice-to-haves:  
•    An understanding and application of federal and state disability and paid family leave laws (i.e., ADA, FMLA, CFRA, PDL,)
•    Strong background in customer service including conflict resolution.
•    Typing speed of 55-60+ wpm.

The pay range for this position is $19.32 - $24.98 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
