The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking a Chief Project Engineer – MH-139 Grey Wolf in Ridley Park, PA.
This position will serve as the chief engineer for the Boeing MH-139 Grey Wolf Helicopter, and will report directly to the Senior Director of TiltRotor and Utility Systems. Position is responsible for day to day management of technical work content pursuant to all MH-139 contracts. Position is responsible for technical integration across all USAF customers as well as Leonardo Helicopters.
In addition, this position is responsible for technical integration of all internal Boeing stakeholders across such business units as Vertical Lift, Boeing Global Services, BR&T, etc. Significant experience with US Department of Defense customer relationships is required. Significant experience with air vehicle certification efforts (FAA preferred). Significant experience with large scale supplier coordination/interaction is required.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines.
Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Top Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited institution
Experience leading a complex team
14+ years’ industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with United States Air Force (Aviation Platform)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Typical summary pay range: $191,250- $258,750
