What You Will Do
Engineering Interns at Pratt & Whitney North Berwick, Maine work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. We’re looking for students with an engineer’s curiosity, an explorer’s heart, and a perfectionist’s grit to help us build the future of aerospace. Whether supporting Mature Commercial Engines, industry-leading Geared Turbofan engines, Military Engine programs, Operations, or Business Support functions, our program seeks to help you: develop an understanding of the aerospace industry; learn about our company and its operations; and appreciate how each discipline and department’s contribution to the success of our products and customer partnerships.

We are currently seeking interns to support North Berwick Engineering with interest in Project Engineering roles. This position will be in-person and you will provide Project engineering support on a variety of engineering tasks.
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Project Engineering Intern to work in the Summer 2026 onsite at our North Berwick, Maine campus. Responsibilities include the following:
- General task management
- Creating technical reports
- Project support of tasks from preliminary design through detailed design phases
- Coordinating with others in advancing technology and process improvements
- Your efforts will align with the design, development, validation, production implementation or fleet management of engines flying throughout the world.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Enrolled in a degree program in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
Qualifications We Prefer
- Demonstrated experience showcasing strong verbal and written communication skills with a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges
