Job Description SummaryThe subject matter expert (SME) resource manager oversees the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and management of SMEs. The resource manager will apply proven skills to analyze, problem-solve, identify, communicate, organize, and manage SME participation in projects related to program development. This individual collaborates with external and internal stakeholders to effectively and professionally manage SME resources.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Recruits external and internal SMEs for development projects according to established qualification specifications
- Manages SME participation in development projects
- Maintains efficient communication with SME and stakeholders
- Acts as liaison between university staff and SMEs
- Processes and manages all required WGU documents for contracted SMEs
- Confirms and processes compensation for SME participation in development projects
- Processes and manages feedback for SME participation in development projects
- Manages logistics for SME participation in development projects as needed
- Fulfills other duties as assigned
