THE JOB:

As a Count Team Lead at MGM Resorts, you’ll be responsible for operating programs and equipment used in the drop and count process, playing a vital role in our dynamic gaming industry. THE STARTING RATE: $19.15

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee and ensure the collection of cash, tickets, and tokens from slot machines, kiosks, and other revenue areas as instructed.

• Perform counting, sorting, strapping, racking, transporting, and recording of all funds in the count operation efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain proficiency in all programs and equipment used in the drop and count process, ensuring operational effectiveness.

• Work independently to plan and strategize for an efficient and secure operating environment in the absence of the Count Team Manager.

• Assist in managing Count Team staff, including scheduling, training, and tasks necessary for the success of the operation, while ensuring a clean and organized count room.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED

• Will be willing to work various shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.

• Over 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling with working knowledge of 10-key and currency counting equipment.

• Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for interacting with business contacts.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and the capacity to carry and lift at least 50 pounds.
