New Grad RN Resident - Telemetry

Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is a fully integrated, state-of-the-art medical campus that includes Diagnostic Centers, Outpatient Surgery and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Martin North Hospital is part of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit, multispecialty, academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. 

 
The 25-bed 5NE Telemetry Unit at Martin North Hospital supports a diverse population, including those experiencing alcohol withdrawal, dementia, and other medical concerns. As a New Grad RN Resident on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, additional education and advanced positions, such as Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager.  

 
A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM.  

 
A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.  

• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.  

• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability).  

• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk.  

• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.  

• Document in patients’ medical records.  

 
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
