Your role:
- Implement the reliability strategy on supported products. Work collaboratively with the reliability team to develop and improve the reliability program to improve the success of all products.
- Assist engineering teams in reducing warranty claims and improving customer satisfaction by leading reliability efforts on problem identification, root cause analysis, corrective action development, and resolution verification.
- Participate in product design and reliability reviews during product development to ensure robustness of product design and software testing processes.
- Perform Design FMEAs on all software and recommend changes to improve product reliability.
- Implement Design for Reliability and Design for Six Sigma ideologies.
You're the right fit if:
- Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience with reliability testing, Design for Reliability, software quality, software testing, and / or software development.
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Reliability, Computer Science, or Biomedical preferred).
- Be familiar with software tools including MiniTab, Reliasoft, LabView, Arduino
- Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) Preferred
- Strong understanding of medical device industry regulatory requirements including ISO Standards (ISO 13485 and ISO 14971), EUMDR, IEC 62304, IEC 60601, IEC 62366.
- Strong understanding on software quality, software testing, and confidence modelling.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in (New Kensington, PA ) is $92,000 to $158,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
