As part of our globally established Shared Services Organization (SSO) with around 500 employees, the Regional Shared Services Center (SSC) is constantly driving forward process transformation with the goal of standardization and harmonization. The Role
The Process & Automation Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and implementing process improvements and automation solutions across our diverse project portfolio within the regional Shared Service Center (SSC). Responsible for harmonizing local processes in alignment with global standards, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effective collaboration with the Global Shared Service Organization (SSO) teams.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in process improvement, automation and optimization within HR, Finance and Procurement functions
- Good understanding of Robotic Process Automation and Process Mining capabilities
- Knowledge of Lean Management principles and their application in process optimization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
- Experience in project management, overseeing initiatives from conception to implementation
- Must demonstrate a strong ability to:
- Adapt and be flexible to frequent changes in a fast-paced work environment
- Demonstrate integrity consistent with Bilfinger’s core values
- Collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with people of various backgrounds and styles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, to include clear, concise, and professional presentation of information
- Adapt to the constantly evolving world of technology, systems may include but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite and SAP
- Mentor and train team members
- Certification in tools such as UiPath, or Celonis highly desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field highly desired.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects related to process improvement, automation, and optimization within HR, Finance and Procurement departments of the regional Shared Service Center
- Ensure implementation of Lean Management principles in regional SSC hub
- Harmonize local processes with global standards, ensuring consistency and compliance with organizational policies
- Collaborate with Global Shared Service Organization teams to implement global process changes locally and provide feedback on local requirements and challenges
- Develop comprehensive process documentation to capture current state processes, proposed improvements, and automation opportunities
- Act as the primary Business Analyst, identifying automation opportunities and implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to improve efficiency
- Utilize Celonis Process Mining to analyze and visualize process data, identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements
- Identify process and information technology inadequacies and deficiencies that affect the functional, strategic, and growth capability that support the organization meeting and surpassing its goals
- Participate in data collection interviews and sessions, and work with users to identify system requirements; develops processing procedu
