Job Description

This role will be responsible for supporting the Director of Marketing Finance & Operations in overseeing the financial and operational activities of the marketing department. This role will manage agency sourcing processes, monitor budgets, and ensure the efficient operation of marketing initiatives.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Agency Sourcing & RFP/RFI Management: Assist in managing the sourcing and selection process for national and local marketing agencies; Collaborate with internal teams to ensure agency selection supports broader marketing objectives.
     
  • Agency Scope Management: Help define and manage the scope of work for agency partnerships, ensuring alignment with marketing goals; Assist in reviewing and adjusting scopes as necessary to accommodate evolving business needs.
     
  • Budget / Fee Management: Support the budgeting process for national G&A and OPNAD marketing programs, agency-related expenses, ensuring they align with the overall marketing budget; Assist in negotiating and managing agency fees to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for the organization; Regularly review fee structures to maintain competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
     
  • Relationship Management: Help build and maintain strong relationships with internal executive stakeholders and national and local agencies, ensuring integration into the organization's marketing strategy.
     
  • Collaboration: Assist in managing cross-functional workstreams related to marketing investment strategies; Contribute to storytelling and data-driven insights to influence stakeholders; Work closely with national and local marketing teams to ensure agency deliverables align with brand guidelines and strategic objectives; Support cross-functional collaboration to align agency work with the broader marketing strategy.
     
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report marketing department financials and agency performance.
     
  • Finance Activities: Support financial oversight of a portfolio of marketing products, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

The expected salary range for this role is $98,140 - $125,130 per year

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • 4-7 years of experience in marketing operations, finance, or agency management.
  • Experience in agency sourcing, budget management and financial oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong financial management and budget oversight capabilities
  • Effective communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial and project management software
