About the role
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for overseeing certain aspects of a tenant improvement construction project, from the initial planning and design stages to the final stages of construction and occupancy. The main goal is to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards. Ability to work well under pressure and participate with a team of construction professionals.
Responsibilities
Participate in subcontracts, payment applications, project schedules, safety, quality; meetings between owners, subcontractors, team members; project administration and document control. Maintain professional relationships among industry partners.
Skills
Familiarity with application and processes required to run a project, issue recognition and resolution, and forward thinking. Able to review and interpret construction documents, along with reading and writing technical specifications. Basic knowledge of MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, AutoCad plan viewing, and DocuSign.

Experience
Background of 3+ years in tenant improvement construction or a related field, and/or a bachelor's or master's degree in construction management or a related discipline. Fundamental knowledge of trades. Assist in mid to large size projects.
