Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring for a Registered Nurse for our Vascular and Interventional Recovery area.

Hours/Shift: Full time. Four, 9 hr shifts/week M-F. Hours 10am-7pm with one closing shift per pay period. There is weekend call coverage required approximately once every 6 weeks. Department/Position Overview: •   Our department has 25-bed prep & recovery unit, 8 procedure rooms and 2 Vascular Hybrid OR’s •   Nurses in this unit will be cross trained to care for interventional radiology, neuro, and vascular procedures and OR patients. •   Provide care for patients recovering from both Moderate Sedation and General Anesthesia. As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients.
