Responsibilities:
-
Manage specific accounting areas according to IFRS standards for the region, including inventory, intercompany, treasury, general ledger (GL), legal, legacy, fixed assets, and pension accounting.

Analyze and review the balance sheet (BS), profit and loss (P&L) statements, and investigate any variances.

Review and, if necessary, adjust financial reports (A-Forms) in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

Ensure that month-end closing deadlines are met.

Apply the company's governance structure and monitor compliance with internal control requirements.

Lead efforts to standardize accounting processes across Business Units (BUs) in the region, ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial reporting.

Participate in projects that require IFRS expertise, such as SAP rollouts or the integration of legal entities, impacting the accounting function.
About You:

At least 3 years of experience in General Ledger, preferably in SSC/BPO.

Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or similar field.

Advanced knowledge of Record to Report process and practical knowledge of IFRS.

Ability to analyze financial data, identify inconsistencies or discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.

Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively, especially during month-end and year-end closing periods.

Practical knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

Advanced Excel skills.

Fluency in English and French, both verbal and written.
