Responsibilities:

 

• Manage specific accounting areas according to IFRS standards for the region, including inventory, intercompany, treasury, general ledger (GL), legal, legacy, fixed assets, and pension accounting.

• Analyze and review the balance sheet (BS), profit and loss (P&L) statements, and investigate any variances.

• Review and, if necessary, adjust financial reports (A-Forms) in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

• Ensure that month-end closing deadlines are met.

• Apply the company's governance structure and monitor compliance with internal control requirements.

• Lead efforts to standardize accounting processes across Business Units (BUs) in the region, ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial reporting.

• Participate in projects that require IFRS expertise, such as SAP rollouts or the integration of legal entities, impacting the accounting function.

 

About You:

 

• At least 3 years of experience in General Ledger, preferably in SSC/BPO.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or similar field.

• Advanced knowledge of Record to Report process and practical knowledge of IFRS.

• Ability to analyze financial data, identify inconsistencies or discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively, especially during month-end and year-end closing periods.

• Practical knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Fluency in English and French, both verbal and written.
