Supervisor - Surveillance (Eldorado Scioto Downs - Columbus, OH)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for directing all activities and assignments in the video monitoring room
• Coordinate the gaming and non-gaming functions of the Surveillance Department. 
• Conduct video reviews on assigned shift and complete associated reports. 
• Assist in the completion of performance appraisals each year. 
• Responsible for the discipline of an employee assigned to their respective shift or under their supervision at the time of the violation.
• All other duties as assigned.

 

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have excellent communication and leadership skills. Must be able to write neatly and communicate both verbally and in writing.  Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in close proximity to fellow employees and be multi-tasked oriented. Must be polite, well groomed, and neat in appearance.  Surveillance experience is mandatory.  Computer handling experience is mandatory.
• Any applicant who has a family member employed by Scioto Downs in a money handling assignment will not be considered for this position.
• Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods. May be exposed to working in a noisy environment. 
• Must be at least 21. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation. 

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
