Senior Grants Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Grants Accountant to join one of our distinguished nonprofit clients in Los Angeles.
In this position, you will play a key role in the oversight of grants accounting, ensuring compliance with regulatory accounting & financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight for pre and post award budget administration
• Financial reporting for grants
• Tracking grant budgets and monitoring metrics
• Assisting manager with the preparation of monthly grant billings and ensuring compliance with grant standards and guidelines
• Work closely with the accounting team, assisting with monthly close, financial reporting, annual audit, etc.
• Collaborate closely with management and senior leadership, relaying pertinent information regarding grant performance and make recommendations to improve procedures, compliance, etc.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure full utilization of grant funds 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience with grants
