What You Will Do

• Work under the guidance of a trained mentor, while you observe, and participate in, a wide range of assignments related to your designated role and work area

• Gain valuable, practical skills related to aerospace parts manufacturing

• This role is 2 days a week from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

• This internships are located at the East Hartford, CT, location in the Turbine Module Center or in the Repair Operations Facility

• FAA Safety Sensitive Position

Qualifications You Must Have

• High school Diploma

• Availability to work part-time for eight consecutive weeks starting the week of March 24

• Enrolled in a Manufacturing Certificate Program to be completed within the program timeframe

• This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a pre-employment contingency and also subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40

Qualifications We Prefer

• Strong technical skills

• Recommendation from school

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
