You are a passionate leader with best-in-class strategies and processes to successfully drive the business through strategic merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, action-oriented reporting and insightful analysis for our North America Ecommerce business. You will be providing leadership and direction to our NA Ecommerce planning team. You’re also resourceful and collaborative with your cross functional digital partners, and know how to implement a seamless strategy and execution across our digital team. A sense of humor is a plus!

A Day in the Life:

The typical day is… atypical. You might be creating annual pre-season plans and monthly forecasting, while driving corresponding strategies. You will be responsible for reviewing weekly sales and inventory levels to proactively communicate risk/opportunities and action steps to the leader, in order to maximize the business while partnering with other channels’ and regions’ planning leads to develop company-wide strategy and insights. The consistent thread is that you’ll be working with an amazing team of women and men who share your passion for excellence.

Some additional Responsibilities may entail:

  • Own Monthly MFR/OTB process.  Strategically reforecast sales, margin, receipts and inventory on a monthly basis. Identify white space opportunities and risks to maximize the business.
  • Review monthly forecast of key items (replenishment) with category planners to ensure in-stock goals and maintained WOS.
  • Drive creation of annual plans in partnership with Buying Marketing Teams inline to LRP and company and brand goals.
  • Create category plans in partnership with Buying team that align with our Long-Range Plan for Sales, Margin $/%, IMU%, and AUR.
  • Partner with Corporate Planning to maintain our Inventory operating model and KPIs to hold team and functional partners accountable to.
  • Communicate financial results and action plans to leadership and cross-functional team on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and category.
  • Provide hindsight analysis and partner with CFT on future product positioning and opportunities.
  • Identify additional reporting needs and process improvements. Collaborate with IT to develop, automate and enhance reporting.
  • Lead promotional strategy evolvement and implementation, including rolling margin and AUR scenarios, providing recommendations based on sales/inventory and brand goals.
  • Develop a high-functioning team through coaching, training, and development plans and ongoing talent assessments.
