Location- This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, New York & San Francisco
About the role-
Enterprise Architects go beyond designing IT systems to deliver business change, which may also be supported and enabled by IT. They define services from a business perspective, both with and without automation. They make an initial grouping of services in components, using principles based on business objectives and constraints. They have deep business and industry expertise, are familiar with industry standards and can work at the boardroom and senior management level. Enterprise Architects define and ensure a comprehensive and coherent view across Business, Information, Systems and Technology. They go beyond designing IT systems to deliver business change, which may also be supported and enabled by IT.
Your skill & Experience-
We are looking for a Salesforce Order Management Architect who can design and deliver scalable, enterprise-level order lifecycle solutions using Salesforce Lightning Order Management and a wide ecosystem of integrated systems.
- hands-on post‑order experience across fulfillment, shipping, payments, returns, refunds, and customer visibility.
- The architect will lead technical and functional decisions, manage complex integrations with systems such as WMS, ERP, payment gateways, and carriers, and ensure data consistency across commerce, service, and operations.
- Responsibilities include creating end‑to‑end order lifecycle architectures, designing event‑driven and API‑based integrations, enabling post‑order customer experiences like shipment updates and RMAs, and providing technical leadership across Apex, Flows, Platform Events, and CI/CD.
- The role also involves guiding cross‑functional teams, running workshops, and translating technical concepts for business stakeholders. Ideal candidates have 5-10+ years of Salesforce experience, strong Salesforce Order Management expertise, architectural and integration skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Preferred qualifications
Salesforce architect certifications, Commerce Cloud experience, and background in high‑volume retail or consumer operations. This role stands out because it focuses on real post‑order complexities such as fulfillment mismatches, payment issues, tracking failures, and operational visibility challenges rather than simple order configuration.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $98,497 - $233,248.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
