Western State Hospital is seeking a full time Food Service Tech II Lead to accurately following recipes to produce consistent recipe products for patient meal service that are appetizing, have the appropriate consistency, and good eye appeal; ensure work in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Virginia Department of Health; complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner; read recipes and follow recipe directions; practice proper food handling techniques and maintain safe temperatures on all food items worked with; chill cooked recipe items to appropriate safe temperature within appropriate timeframe and document all temperatures on appropriate HACCP log sheets; wash, rinse, and sanitize equipment and work surfaces and store all cleaning materials in designated locations; and assist with tray assembly and/or tray delivery as required.

Minimum Qualifications

- experience in food service

- High School Graduate or Equivalent
