Position Overview

 

The Global FP&A and Reporting Manager will be a vital member of the Corporate Finance team, supporting the Global FP&A Director in executive, American Securities and Board of Director reporting, planning, review and analysis of global Hexion results, and oversight of the Corporate functional cost center spend.  This will involve interaction with many Hexion leadership individuals, including the Corporate functional leaders and members of the Finance Leadership team and the Senior Leadership team.

Job Responsibilities

 
  • Preparation of monthly management financial results
  • Roll up and analysis of monthly EBITDA bridges and latest forecasts from business units
  • Preparation and review of the finance section of the monthly sales and operations meeting
  • Preparation and review of the monthly American Securities presentation
  • Preparation and review of the finance section of the quarterly Board of Directors presentation
  • Oversight and analysis of actual monthly Corporate functional spend and preparation of the Corporate forecast
  • Oversight and coordination of the annual budget and preparation of the Corporate functional budget
  • Ad hoc analysis of global Hexion financial results
  • Provide support to business unit commercial finance teams on key reporting, analysis, forecasting and budgeting requests and deliverables 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to organize data, interpret data and communicate data in a clear, concise way for a mixed audience where not all possess financial acumen
  • Self-motivated and able to perform effectively with minimal direct supervision
  • Effective communication, listening and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, project management, organizational and problem-solving skills

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of applicable experience in finance or accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Proficient with creating and maintaining complex financial models
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Beneficial to have some experience in tools such as WDesk, Power BI, consolidation software or other multi-dimensional databases
  • Demonstrated ability to speak up and share views, insights and opinions in meetings with executives 

 

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
