• Inspire and Lead: Supervision of the Upward Bound Program at Ukiah and Clear Lake High Schools, guiding and supporting a dedicated team of staff and students.
• Create Impact: Develop and implement dynamic, student-centered programs with a focus on curriculum and teaching.
• Be a Changemaker: Oversee program operations, budget management, and ensure compliance with university and agency policies.

Work Site Location: Duties take place mostly in an office setting located at Ukiah High School, including some offsite location work at Clear Lake High.

Qualifications: This position requires a minimum of three years' experience in personnel supervision and evaluation, program development and evaluation, and fiscal management along with three years of progressively responsible and applicable management and/or supervisory experience. Bachelor's Degree in in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. A valid CA teaching or pupil personnel services credential highly preferred.

SALARY AND BENEFITS 

Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $4,500 to $4,800 a month. This is a full time, fixed-term, position. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations.

This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 15 paid holidays are offered each year and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
