Job Description
This internship will be partially remote but the hired applicant will be expected to come into the Mount Prospect office. Only local applicants will be considered.
This internship will begin in Summer 2023 and will last for 12 months.
The Quality Engineering Intern will be responsible for:
- Generating crucial reports to steer the business to opportunities in cost savings and quality improvement.
- Collaborating closely with our National Reconditioning Center on process improvements
- Partnering with various cross-functional teams to decrease External Defect Costs
- Improving and maintaining product quality across multiple product lines

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program or have graduated within the last six months
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge in PowerBI preferred
- Some experience on quality activities preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Must be able to define and work to deadlines
- Can work effectively in independent and team settings
