Adjunct Faculty - Physical Exam Lab Instructor

The School of Physician Assistant Studies, Boston seeks an adjunct faculty member to work as a lab instructor in the Physical Exam Lab. The instructor will deliver high quality learning experiences and education for students in the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program. The selected candidate will have responsibilities teaching physical examination skills to graduate students.
- Deliver laboratory instruction in person, in the Physical Exam Lab for the School of Physician Assistant Studies
- Instruction will align with course goals and learning objectives
- Proctor and grade physical exam skills
- Provide student mentoring, and remediation
- Assist in lab set-up
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor
Required:
- Master’s Degree or higher in related field
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Physician Assistant
- Commitment to graduate and professional education and student success
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, alumni, and external constituents, including healthcare industry professionals)
Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the college/university level
