We are recruiting a full time Mental Health Technician to provide services in our STRONG program, which is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC)-approved site. STRONG stands for Successfully Treating and Reaching Our Next Generation. We chose this name because it expresses the values and mission of our program and organization. What you will be doing
The Mental Health Technician will support psycho-educational group facilitation skills groups for clients admitted into our program while complying to safety and educational requirements in a professional manner. In addition, the Mental Health Technician will provide general client care, de-escalation services, and participate in clinic projects to improve professional skills and clinic operations. This position will also participate in clinical supervision meetings for professional and team improvement, as directed.

Hours for this position are generally 7:00am-3:30pm or 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Requirements
- A minimum of a high school diploma required.
- Previous experience working with children with severe emotional/ behavioral disorders.
- Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran church preferred.
- Willingness to support the mission of Christian Family Solutions.
- Previous coursework or training on children with mental health/emotional disorders.
- Personal aptitude and life experience which suggest aptitude to provide positive and effective services for children with mental health disorders.
- Willing to uphold a biblical worldview in the clinical setting.
