Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)
Pay Rate: $50.00–$60.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized infusion therapy services in patients' homes. This role involves administering specialty medications and intravenous antibiotics (IV Abx) while delivering exceptional patient care in a home health setting.

Key Responsibilities:


Administer specialty infusion medications and IV antibiotic therapies in patients' homes.
Perform vascular access procedures, including peripheral IV insertion.
Access and manage implanted ports, PICC lines, and other central venous catheters.
Monitor patients during infusions and assess for adverse reactions or complications.
Educate patients and caregivers on medication administration, infusion therapy, and catheter care.
Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.


 

          As a Home Health Registered Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:


Provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases—often after discharge from a hospital, rehab or nursing facility
Examine patients, do assessments, document progress and report changes to their physician
Educate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet and exercise
Coach family members on the patient’s plan of care, medication and home safety  
Ensure goals are met and coordinate discharge from services


   

 

         Qualifications:


Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Previous IV infusion experience required.
Proficiency with peripheral IV starts, port access, and central line management.
Home infusion, home health, oncology, critical care, or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
Current BLS certification.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes within the assigned territory.
