About the Job

The Branch Collection Manager will be responsible for supervising agents who take inbound calls, monitor customer inquiries, and will ensure compliance with all state and federal laws.

As Branch Manager, You Will…

• Be responsible for managing and professionally handling complaints or difficult calls
• Ensure employees comply with company policies when talking with customers on queries
• Be responsible for ensuring the team is up-to-date with changes in state and federal laws governing debt collections and make sure employees receive training on any changes in laws
• Ensure staff operation within the confines of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) when taking inbound calls with customers
• Identify areas of processes that need improvement and implement an enhanced approach
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with company policies and laws
• Manage employees ethically and fairly

Requirements

As Branch Manager, You Have…

• Post-secondary degree, or certificate, with a focus in a related discipline
• 2-3 years of recent experience as Branch Collection manager
• Certification from the American Collectors Association, or ACA International, is required
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Advanced computer skills
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Above average critical thinking skills and exercise sound judgment
• Residency in Arizona
• Willingness to list name as a Branch Manager on all licenses
• Willingness to undergo appropriate checks and other licensing requirements
