As a Data Science Specialist – Healthcare Analytics, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Design, develop, and deploy models that analyze complex healthcare data using advanced data science techniques.
- Work closely with clinical experts and researchers to derive actionable healthcare insights and recommendations.
- Utilize cloud platforms to build scalable data analytics pipelines and AI models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into existing solutions and workflows.
- Effectively communicate complex findings to key stakeholders.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 5+ years of data science experience with a focus on healthcare analytics.
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND 9 years of data science experience with a focus on healthcare analytics.
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Proven experience working with healthcare data, unstructured, clinical, and medical coding data.
- Experience with programming languages, databases, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies and platforms (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, TorchServe, MLflow, AWS SageMaker)
- Experience with cloud services and data pipelines
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master’s degree in data science, computer science, applied mathematics, or related field from an accredited institution
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g. Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with predictive modeling, deep learning, LLM applications, and NLP techniques
- Knowledge of medical classification systems (e.g. CPT, ICD-10)
- Knowledge of revenue cycle and denials management solutions
