THE JOB:

As a Garde Manger, you will be responsible for following standard recipes to assure consistency of quality and quantity of food

production. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique

stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with

us

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Coach and direct all Pantry and Pantry Helper employees to work in a productive and efficient manner

• Follow standard recipes to assure consistency of quality and quantity of food production

• Fabricate, cook, and prepare all items necessary for cold kitchen production

• Adjust food inventories according to business in order to avoid over production and waste

• Prepare requisitions Banquet Event Orders, and Production Sheets

• Artistically display cold food by following standards set forth by the chef

• Work action station in front or back of house

• Ensure cleanliness of cold station walk-ins and reach-ins in accordance with all current Health Inspection regulations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Required

• Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

• One (1) year of experience in a high-volume restaurant Preferred

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$24.00

 

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

 

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
