What You’ll do:

• Provide legal support for Retail & digital products: templates, procedures, guidelines;

• Provide legal opinions on interpreting and implementing consumer protection legislation (i.e. OUG 50/2010, Law 193, etc..) including in relationship with Consumers Protection Authority.

• Legal support for bancassurance activity

• Legal assistance for complaints and requests from Consumer Protection Authority (ANPC)

• Credit intermediation for other financial institutions

• Willingness to understand and interpret EU legislation related to consumers, electronic signatures, and remote financial contracting;

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

• At least 5 years of experience in the banking or non-banking financial institutions (IFN) sector;

• Strong legal expertise in providing legal support for retail lending products;

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with:

• OUG 50/2010 & full Consumer protection legislation

• Payment services (PSD2)

• Legal grounds for Digital products and the online marketplace

• Legal assistance for complaints and requests from Consumer Protection Authority (ANPC)

• Willingness to understand and interpret EU legislation related to consumers, electronic signatures, and remote financial contracting;

• Solution-oriented and open-minded approach to challenges;

• Fluent English speaker – both written and spoken.
