About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, the Team Lead is responsible for the organization and the supervision of the daily operation of the Mammography Department in the Division of Diagnostic Imaging at Nova Scotia Health. In addition to the above-noted supervisory role, the successful applicant will also perform clinical duties within their fields of competency.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification
Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure - Minimum (3) three years’ recent experience required working as a technologist in mammography
- Formal management course preferred
- Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilities in a multi-modality/site imaging department.
- Ensures competency, and maintains an ongoing interest in updating knowledge on new equipment and procedures
