JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Business Technology Analyst III - Government Operations Consultant III position in the General Tax Administration Program, Business Technology Office, XML/EDI Development Unit. The incumbent oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of small and large information technology-related projects, conducts analytical and organizational research for the planning, development, and implementation of strategic technology initiatives, analyzes and documents business requirements to determine system needs, provides solutions to end users, and assists external software and alternative tax form developers with development and testing. The incumbent also reviews and responds to inquiries and incidents from internal and external customers, updates and creates specifications for various systems and platforms, assists with the creation, maintenance, and implementation of policies and procedures, develops testing strategies and test scripts, and conducts various forms of testing as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • One year of experience working in computer programming, systems analysis, business analysis, data analysis, technical writing, or providing systems support

PREFERENCES:

  • Experience working in tax administration

SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $4,688.20 monthly/$56,258.40 annually.
