Finance Intern

What You'll Be Doing:

 General Accounting

• Provide assistance and support with daily and monthly activities.
• Assist with preparation of Budget templates and reports.
• Assist with reconciliations for Corporate entities.

Treasury

• Execute transactional coding for daily bank activity and 13 week rolling forecast
• Review daily cash reports
• Reconcile cash general ledger accounts and park journal entries
• Reconcile monthly bank account analysis statements

Tax

• Help prepare tax reports
• Research tax questions
• Review sales tax returns by state and county

FP&A (Forecasting and Budgeting)

• Assist with preparation of SMT, board and investor decks
• Data validation for implementation of PCM system
• Ad hoc data analysis

 

Special Projects

• Special Projects- assist when needed

 

Minimum Requirements

• Candidate must be enrolled/actively pursuing a degree in finance/accounting
• High School diploma
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Experience with accounting system\
• Must demonstrate ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive data
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word
