About The Role:

As a QA Intern, you'll work across our Utilities product suite, which includes: Avast Cleanup, AVG TuneUp, CCleaner and Norton Utilities Ultimate. Also Avast, AVG and Norton variants of our Driver Updater. 

Working remotely, but having the opportunity to collaborate in our Brno office, you'll join as a peer within the product delivery team. Working alongside developers, product managers and the rest of our QA team, to drive and deliver quality product experiences. Alongside, expanding our automated test suite, of CEF based Windows application UIs using Playwright and Python. 

What You’ll Do In This Role:

• Knowledge of OOP in Python or C#.

• Basic GIT knowledge.

• Power using skills on Windows OS.

• Passionate about quality.

• Amazing attention to detail, verging on the obsessive!

• Dissecting software applications to understand them at a granular level and to see what makes them tick.

• Wanting to find the root cause on problems.

• Great at communicating with colleagues on technical and complex matters.

• Willing to take on responsibility and has the conviction to see tasks through to the end, either as part of a team or individually (English B2 level).

• A proactive individual who has a genuine interest in technology.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role: 

• Performing user based testing across all products.

• Asking necessary questions to identify risks and testing requirements.

• Writing automated tests in Python using Playwright Framework.

• Running manual and automated regression suites.

• Work with the support team to identify and diagnose production issues.

• Work with the product team to identify testing requirements for products.

• Work with the development teams to implement and test changes to products.
