JOB SUMMARY

Cresco Labs is seeking a task-oriented Fertigation Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our irrigation systems. Reporting to the Director of Cultivation, the Fertigation Supervisor will lead a team, ensuring that all processes, training requirements, schedules, policies, and procedures are followed and that production goals are achieved. 

CORE JOB DUTIES 

• Assist the Cultivation Manager with developing and implementing nutrient programs to ensure plant health. 
• Responsible for maintaining crop irrigation and feeding schedules using Ridder, Anderson and Tridium systems.
• Ensures fertilizer Concentrate Tanks and Day Tanks are filled adequately and recipes are accurately dosed for proper pH and EC levels. 
• Responsible for responding to system alarms and issues by diagnosing and troubleshooting problems quickly and effectively.  
• Install, repair and troubleshoot irrigation components, including lines, emitters, pumps and control panels. 
• Maintains an inventory of all chemicals and fertilizers used in the department to avoid disruptions in the fertigation process.  
• Maintains an inventory of parts and equipment for irrigation equipment to ensure the needs of the facility are met without disruption.  
• Responsible for monitoring soil moisture content and maintaining sensors. Takes measurements, water samples, records data and ensures testing instruments are properly maintained. 
• Collaborate with all Cultivation Departments to ensure irrigation needs are being met and maintained.
• Schedules routine system cleaning with department leaders. 
• Ensure work and cleaning schedules are being planned and executed effectively.  
• Plan, organize and coordinate fertigation projects to meet facility needs.  
• Plan, organize and coordinate routine maintenance schedules of equipment and tanks.  
• Supervise and train fertigation team members. Delegate tasks, provide guidance and ensure the team works effectively and efficiently. 
• Develop, write, maintain and implement SOP’s for all fertigation tasks to ensure consistency and efficiency.  
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
