Schedule - rotating schedule

Hours - 5:00 pm - 5:00 am

Pay - 18.50/Hr.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• This position is responsible for monitoring the premises to protect our Team Members, visitors, and company property.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• A Gate Attendant will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment through active patrol, strict access control, and monitoring. 
• Must always be visible and observant, greeting staff, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner.
• Will be responsible for completing shift reports, access reports, truck logs and incident reports. 
• Must be able to respond immediately to distress calls and emergency alarms, providing assistance as directed. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be customer service oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and standard computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. 
• Must have the ability to think and act quickly during an emergency. 
• Must be available to work overtime as needed. 
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks, with the ability to make quick decisions based on standard operating procedures. 
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk long distances and climb stairs for patrol, and to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays. 
• Must have 6 months continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred 6 months gate attendant experience/preferred 6 months janitorial experience.
