Position Summary
Provides strategic leadership and direction through subordinate team of IT Leadership within ERIE’s IT Data Portfolio and Enterprise applications in an Enterprise Agility environment. Responsible to partner with Business Sponsor in the creation and implementation of ERIE’s Data and Analytics Strategy. Delivers new capabilities aligned with Enterprise strategy and secures strong partnerships with internal ERIE teams and strategic vendor partners to evolve and optimize ERIE’s data capabilities. Accountable for the performance and results of multiple related information technology (IT) data disciplines and functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages overall operations of designated area of authority. Interviews, hires, trains and directs personnel. Prepares and conducts performance assessments, coordinates discipline and oversees Employee development as required.
- Partners with Business Sponsor(s) in the creation and implementation of ERIE’s Data and Analytics Strategy.
- Matures ERIE’s Data Infrastructure Architecture with a cloud-first approach, a focus on consumption enablement, and maturing towards data products.
- Establishes and optimizes data democratization and self-service for business citizen model development and deployment, including advancing organizational capability to derive value from structured and unstructured data.
- Leads the expansion of Enterprise Content Management capability adoption across the Enterprise, aligned with improved digitization, workflow, expense reduction, and content analytics / data insights derived from digital content.
- Leads the continuous improvement of capabilities within data insights and analytics platform(s), including integration with ERIE’s core systems aligned to business value.
- Establishes KPIs and measurable results through improved data collection and utilization.
- Optimizes data infrastructure in the cloud and ensures expanded capabilities while proactively managing cost and performance.
