OVERVIEW

Caribou Thunder is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sustainment Operations Lead to oversee logistics, field support, and sustainment operations for military SATCOM systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with military personnel to ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and support of complex SATCOM systems. This role requires expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and field sustainment operations, including troubleshooting, system installations, and technical support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Manage FSR (Field Service Representative) support for on-site technical support, maintenance, and training of military SATCOM systems.

2.    Collaborate with military personnel to ensure proper system operation and maintenance, addressing technical issues and providing detailed performance reports.

3.    Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain SATCOM systems to ensure operational readiness.

4.    Install, configure, and test SATCOM hardware and software components.

5.    Work with engineering teams to design and implement SATCOM solutions tailored to customer requirements and specifications.

6.    Coordinate logistics and supply chain operations to ensure an efficient and cost-effective distribution of replacement parts and mission-critical equipment.

7.    Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and resolve logistics-related issues to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.

8.    Develop and execute logistics strategies, optimizing transportation routes and coordinating logistics activities across multiple locations.

9.    Complete ODIN training following Product Support Manager and Depot Manager requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

1.    4+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles.

2.    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

3.    Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and support SATCOM systems in an operational environment.

4.    Experience managing logistics and supply chain operations in a high-demand environment.

5.    Strong understanding of inventory management, shipment tracking, and operational sustainment.
