Key tasks associated with this role are:</p> <ul> <li>Support multinational Corporates to manage global actuarial projects.</li> <li>Accounting consolidation of employee benefit liabilities according to international standards (IAS19 and USGAAP).</li> <li>Act as an expert for all technical matters related to post-employment benefits, in special the pension world.</li> <li>Check technical accuracy, reasonableness, and 'sense checking’ your own work, and that of others.</li> <li>Provide on the job training to more junior colleagues. </li> <li>Support leadership in strategic decisions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>The Requirements</strong></p><p>You are the person that we are looking for if you have:</p><ul><li>Degree in actuarial science (is a plus), math, finance, economics or similar field.</li><li>Relevant industry experience (retirement/pensions) and consulting experience coupled with sound technical capability.</li><li>Interest in employee benefits for multinational companies (retirement, pension, health) and the consolidation process under IAS 19 and USGAAP.</li><li>Comfort in working in a global environment.</li><li>Knowledge and experience of MS Office Products, especially in Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical, numerical, and critical thinking skills, including a good understanding of actuarial approaches for pensions.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively create a trusty relationship with the stakeholders.</li><li>Excellent organisational and time management skills.</li><li>Able to encourage and develop other colleagues and work well within diverse teams.</li><li>Strong verbal and written skills in English (other European Language is a plus).</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></p><p>In WTW, you’ll find a professional yet friendly and easy-going environment in an office based in a fast-growing European capital.
