The Opportunity

FAMBrands is hiring a seasoned UiPath Developer with a strong foundation in process improvement and experience with automating sales and order management workflows. This role is suited for a developer experienced in UiPath’s Enterprise RPA Platform, especially Document Understanding, Orchestrator, and automation lifecycle execution.

This developer will join a small, agile team to help streamline and enhance the sales and order pipeline through scalable, maintainable automation solutions. The role focuses on UiPath development and requires familiarity with automation lifecycle best practices and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

What You'll Do (Role Responsibilities)

• Collaborate with stakeholders and the AI & Process Automation team to gather requirements, define automation logic, and implement solutions aligned with business goals.
• Develop and maintainautomation workflows using UiPath, with a focus on automating sales and order management processes.
• LeverageUiPath Document Understanding to extract and process key data from structured and semi-structured documents like purchase orders, order confirmations, and sales contracts.
• Deploy and support automation solutions in UiPathOrchestrator, including asset and queue management, bot scheduling, and log review.
• Assist in the maintenance of existing bots, including reviewing logs, resolving run-time issues, and refining workflows.
• Ensure adherence to automation standards, including proper logging, error handling, and exception management.
• Participate in Agile development cycles and team ceremonies, including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Help document runbooks and support documentation for deployed automations.

• Languages: VB.NET, C#, Python, PowerShell (preferred)
• Data & Integration: SQL Server, REST APIs, JSON, SharePoint, Excel
• PM & Workflow: Asana, Jira, Confluence

 

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of hands-on UiPath development experience, including automating business processes with Orchestrator.
• Working knowledge ofDocument Understanding, including taxonomy creation, template configuration, and document classification.
• Experience in developing bots that handle structured and semi-structured document automation.
• Familiarity with bot deployment, asset configuration, and job monitoring in UiPath Orchestrator.
• Understanding of exception handling and logging best practices.
• Experience supporting production bots or working in collaboration with a support team.
• Ability to work remotely in a team-based Agile environment.

Preferred:

• UiPathAssociate RPA Developer or Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) 
• Exposure to automation withinsales operations or order management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, order entry systems, or sales platforms.
• Python, PowerShell, or scripting language experience for automation setup and support tasks.
