More than half of Americans have a poor credit score or no score at all. Since most financial institutions rely on traditional credit scoring to assess risk, that means these people can't access affordable financial products. Instead, they resort to high-interest credit cards, payday loans, and trigger overdraft fees to make ends meet — which ultimately push them into deeper cycles of debt.

Pinwheel provides an API platform that makes it easy to connect payroll accounts like ADP and Gusto to any app. By unlocking the wealth of identity, income and employment data that sits in these systems, alongside direct access to paychecks, we can help innovators build the next generation of financial products that increase access for the underserved while improving the businesses of our partner banks, fintechs, and lenders.

What will you do?

• Maintain our CEO’s calendar, coordinate internal and external meetings, arrange travel, events, appointments, and professional dinners.
• Organize our CEO’s inbox and action items with a capacity to support and remind our executive of tasks at hand. 
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. 
• Coordinate administrative tasks and support daily operations to enhance office productivity and organization.
• Plan and execute events for the office including happy hours, on-sites, and holiday parties as a key cultural pillar of our organization.
• Manage swag and office snack inventory and shipments. 
• Must be in person in our NYC office. 

What experience, skills, and qualifications are necessary?

• 7+ years of experience supporting busy executives at high pace organizations (tech startup experience is a plus, but not required).
• We are looking for a proactive thinker with a customer first mindset and a mission to always be finding new ways to make our CEO’s job seamless while unblocking obstacles simultaneously.  
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to handle pressure while maintaining a positive attitude across multiple leaders and employees. 
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with heightened attention to detail and focus on prioritization.
• Ability to be resourceful in ambiguous situations where tasks at hand must be completed swiftly and effectively.

At Pinwheel, total compensation is made up of salary + equity + benefits. We recruit motivated and high performing talent, and work to compensate people in line with the value they can bring to the organization in delivering outsized results. The talent market is competitive, and maintaining our ability to recruit and retain the best team possible is a top priority for Pinwheel. When creating an offer, we consider interview performance, candidate experience, external market competitiveness, and internal equity in thoughtfully assessing compensation. The expected cash salary range for this role is $115,000-$150,000.
