Physical Therapy Assistant

Sunshine Pediatric Day Center is currently looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant for our PPECC facility located in Dallas, Texas. This is an amazing opportunity to help us build our in-house rehab department! This is a FACILITY BASED position. You will NOT need to drive from patient to patient.

Under the supervision of a licensed PT, candidates should provide high quality physical therapy for medically complex pediatric patients.

Job requirements include:

· Carry out treatment plans

· Maintenance of daily treatment records

· Positive level of interaction with patients and families of patients

· Positive level of interaction with peers and facility staff

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant

• Pediatric experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
