Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Pharmacy Vendor Performance Management team! You will be responsible for complex financial reporting and accuracy, invoice approvals, tracking, analysis, budgeting, operational efficiency, financial forecasting, and strategic alignment. Prepares financial reports for management and forecasts operating trends as well as research miscellaneous vendor payments. Coordinates and participates in several complex projects relating to Transformation, financial statement preparation and analysis development. Responsible for preparing and documenting complex financial plans, policies, and accounting practices. Responsible for developing, utilizing, interpreting, and/or reporting complex corporate financial data as it relates to historical reporting, forecasting and/or estimating the future trends in health care costs.What You’ll Do
Develop, analyze, interpret, report, and/or present monthly, quarterly, and/or annual historical/ and or forecasted financial information.
Prepare complex financial plans, financial forecasts, profitability impacts & competitive analysis, and various reports to better track profitability
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and/or analysis for various audiences such as departmental leadership and enterprise stakeholders. Ensure the reports are accurate. Make presentations to management and business lines.
Responsible for complex monthly variance analysis (at any business/segment or consolidated company level). Provide ongoing support to various business lines and answer any questions that may arise.
Validate Pharmacy Vendor invoices against contract terms, claims data to ensure accuracy and investigate discrepancies between expected and actual reimbursements
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and collaborate cross-functionally with other Business Unit managers to align financial goals with business strategy. Advise Pharmacy leadership on cost-saving opportunities and Vendor financial performance optimization.
Support the complex administration and financial analysis for new and ongoing corporate initiatives.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
5+ years of experience in related field.
In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.
Bonus Points
Related experience in accounts receivable at a health insurance payer strongly preferred
